For example, I have a new job. I left America First Credit Union and went back to the Weber County Recorder's Office. Yep, I said back...I worked there from 1997 to 2003 and left the day before Jonah was born. I was a stay at home mom until 2008 when I decided to go back to work. I really enjoyed my time at the credit union but it seemed like it was a good time to make the move to the county. (Plus I get to work with my dad.)
Let me post some pictures to catch you up....
Back in May, Alex was running track and playing soccer. He injured himself and was out of commission for a while. These pictures are from his first race after he was allowed to run again. He ran the 800 meter and took 2nd place.

Here is he is playing soccer. He played this game after he finished the track meet in the pictures above. He had about one hour of rest between the two. He did awesome. They won the game. (Again, he's the one with the long, floppy hair.)
Connor had his Utah program in May. The dressed up like cowboys and pilgrims. They sang and talked about Utah history.
I don't have a picture for this one, but in June my brother-in-law got a new job with Verzion Wireless. They moved to Castle Rock, Colorado. Travis moved in June and Dawnelle moved to Colorado in August. It's hard knowing that they are so far away, but it's nice to be able to text her anytime. It makes it seem like she is still in Syracuse. I miss her very much.
In July, Alex was able to participate in the Cherry Days Parade with the Weber High Marching Band. He plays the tenor saxophone. It's hard to see him in this picture, but he is really there somewhere.
August 30th was the 1 year anniversary of Jarrod's accident. We were together as a family that evening and released balloons at the cemetary with notes expressing our love. We will never forget the wonderful brother, dad, husband and son that Jarrod was. We miss him every day and know that he is watching over us.
Also in August, Connor started playing football. He loved it. He was an X-man which means that he is bigger than the other kids. He was a left guard. His team even went to the playoffs.
September was the boys annual trip to the Narrows. Alex didn't come on this trip because he had soccer games and tests at school. Just a side-note, Alex turned 15 this year. Learners permit is on the way. Next year a driver's licence. Watch out Pleasant View!!
October 8th was Jonah's baptism. It was wonderful. Dawnelle was down here from Colorado and that was wonderful. Jonah enjoyed having Noah here for awhile.
I can't believe how fast they grow.
Randy got braces in October. The dentist recommended that he get them to correct his overbite. He is still trying to get used to them. It's gonna be a long 2 years.
We got new kitchen counter tops. I was so glad to get rid of the tile. I HATED tile. The grout stained easily and always looked dirty. These are much better. AND I got the stainless steel sink that I have wanted since I moved in to my house.
And finally we have Halloween. We love Halloween at our house. We watch scary movies all month long and play scary music during trick or treating. This year we had 2 zombies (Connor and Jonah), Alice Cooper (Alex), Rapunzel (Emma of course), a surfer dude (Preston), and a vampire (Randy).
