Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas from the Thompson Family!  We have had a very good holiday.  It has had it's moments of sadness because Jarrod is no longer with us, but we have enjoyed each other and all of the wonderful activities that we have been able to do  together.

All of the kids got a Snuggie.  Connor seemed especially happy to get his.

Preston was thrilled to receive his Madden 10 game for Wii.

As you can tell, Emma loved her Cinderella dress up doll.

Emma also got a mermaid Barbie.

November and December

After I posted Christmas Eve, I realized that I hadn't posted any of the things that we had done in November or the beginning of December.

For Thanksgiving, the kids put on a play, all about the first Thanksgiving.

Emma was an Indian.

Look at those great Pilgrim costumes.  They made everything themselves out of construction paper.

Emma's birthday was Dec 2nd.  She got a Leapfrog Tag Reader from Mommy & Daddy and a Ariel doll from Grandma & Grandpa.

What a wonderful evening we had tonight.  We went to my sister-in-laws house to have dinner and exchange gifts.

This Christmas has been very difficult knowing that my brother would not be here to share it with us.  I know that he was with us in spirit and watching over us.

Emma got some new jammies.

Kayla got a cute little horsey.

What every teenager wants...MONEY!

Alex got some jammies too.

Lynette gave Grandma and Grandpa some beautiful momentos of Jarrod and his family.  This is a blanket.

Lynette's niece made this beautiful charcoal sketch of Jarrod and our Grandpa (who passed away last year).  To me, it shows Grandpa Dearden greeting Jarrod in heaven.
