Pumpkins
Time to get pumpkins for Halloween. Unfortunately, our schedules were such that we weren't able to get to the pumpkin patch, so we had to settle for Wal-Mart. Stay tuned to see the final results of our pumpkin hunting!

Vacation Time!
We just recently took a short family vacation. We took the kids to St. George, Zions National Park and Las Vegas. It was alot of fun. My mom has a house in St. George that we stay in. It's a nice little 2 bedroom home. It's nice because we can still have home cooked meals and don't have to cram our large family into a hotel room. Plus we are only an hour from Las Vegas.
While we were in Las Vegas, we stopped at Caesar's Palace for lunch. It has become a tradition to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. We also went to the showroom where Cher is performing. She has costumes on display, so the kids got a picture in front of the case.
The big boys and Randy went hiking in Zions, while I stayed at my mom's house with the little kids and did some scrapbooking.
They took 2 days and hiked The Narrows. I am going next year! It looks absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to try it!

Well Here We Are!!!
This is my first post! I never thought that I would have a blog, but it seems like a fun way to let everyone know what my crazy family is up to!
Randy graduated in May with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He has now decided to go back for his Masters in Arts of Education. He is very excited! I know that he will be an awesome teacher. He is also getting healthy, something that I wish I had the willpower to do. He has lost 50 pounds and is back down to where he was just after we got married. It's amazing what you can accomplish if you just put your mind to it!!
I have gone back to work! A lot of people think I am nuts, but I am really enjoying my job. I am working for America First as a teller. It is really fun. It is putting strain on our schedules at home, but hopefully we are adjusting. The kids don't like having to do chores after school and it puts a crimp in their playtime. I don't remember working and having kids being so difficult, but when I worked full time, I only had 3 kids! Adding 2 more to the brood will definately add a little more stress to your schedule.
Alex just turned 12!!! I can't believe that I am old enough to have a 12 year old! He is in the 6th grade and loving it. Alex is quite an active little bugger. He loves to play soccer and wants to take martial arts with his friend Daran. While practicing moves with his friends the other day, he hurt his wrist. We thought it was broken, but the doctor said that he couldn't see anything on the x-ray. So for right now he is in a splint. Alex has already broken both arms about 4 years ago, so I was glad that it wasn't broken again! Boys will be boys!
